There are a number of different factors that every website should not be without in todays market. The competitors online are so vicious and if you are not on top of things with the elements on your website it may be the difference between sales or no sales.

 

The most important thing you want to have on your website is a way to contact you. The ways to contact need to be visable on every page of your website. There should always be a way to contact you on the top righthand corner of every page in your website. People have become accustomed to knowing that there is a phone number or live support on the right hand upper corner of reputable companies. The phone number should be large and very obvious. There should also be a link to a contact page on every page of your website. The different types of ways to contact your company should not only be a phone number. On the contact page make sure that you have a contact form, a way to email you, and if you have them multiple numbers like 1-800 and local numbers. When putting the mail to email on the contact page, make sure that it has the ability to be copied and pasted into any mail program, not just the one that comes with the computer.

The reason for this is because a lot of people use email accounts with Gmail and Yahoo or something else. The reason that you shouldn’t have it just open a mail program is because a lot of people don’t use those programs and you might lose the lead.

 

The second thing all websites should not be without is testimonials. Testimonials speak louder than words online, it helps to build you up as a reputable company in the clients eyes. One way to get good testimonials is to have it written up by you or an employee and then have your customer sign and approve it. A lot of working people usually don’t have time to do everything that they want to do, and writing a testimonial for your company is usually last on their list of things to do.

The third important aspect of your website is to have a portfolio. People will have more confidence in your abilities if you have a portfolio that they can look at. From looking at analytic reports for a long time we can find that this is the most looked at page on your website right after the homepage.
